Job description / Role
Pre-Sales Engineer will be responsible for internal sales and pre-sales support for data center products distributed by the company. Topnet currently represents Geist, NTI, Pentair Schroff, Raritan, Netcab, Upsite, Leviton in the areas of data center.
The PSE will work through data center channel partners in UAE. The SE will identify project business and also work on run rate opportunities. He/she will have to be in contact with all current and prospective systems integrators and resellers of data center products in UAE and work on all sales opportunities.
The job involves identifying sales opportunities, responding to enquiries, preparing solution and BOQ based on project enquiries and tenders, preparing technical compliance for project submittals, following up on proposal and achieving the sales revenue & profit target.
Requirements
The right candidate will have at least 3 years of pre-sales / internal sales experience in data center products. UAE experience will be preferred. Degree level education, preferably engineering is a minimum requirement. Specialised training in networking and selling skills will be an added advantage. Candidate must have product knowledge on cabinets, intelligent rack PDUs, KVM switches, UPS and data center cooling.
Excellent communication skills and presentation skills are must.
