Precast Yard (PCY) Manager

Job description / Role

We are seeking an experienced PCY Manager (Elevated) to oversee the construction and operation of the Precast Yard for elevated viaduct structures on a railway project. The role is responsible for managing all activities related to precast segment/beam production, quality, safety, schedule, and coordination with site construction teams. The candidate must have prior working experience in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the precast yard for elevated railway viaduct / bridge elements.
- Plan, organize, and control production of precast beams / segments in line with project schedule and specifications.
- Coordinate with design, construction, QA/QC, and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow between precast yard and site.
- Ensure compliance with project technical specifications, drawings, method statements, and ITPs.
- Monitor productivity, manpower, equipment, and materials to achieve production targets.
- Implement and enforce HSE standards and company safety policies within the precast yard.
- Resolve technical and construction issues related to precast production and erection interface.
- Prepare progress reports and provide regular updates to project management.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants as required.

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in railway / bridge / elevated structure projects.
- Proven experience as PCY Manager or Precast Yard Manager on high-speed rail or large infrastructure projects.
- Strong background in precast beams / segments for viaducts or bridges.
- Prior working experience in the UAE is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of international construction standards and QA/QC procedures.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
- English proficiency required; Arabic is a plus.
