Presales Manager Middle East and Africa

Client, an organisation that delivers an innovative digital commerce solution that enables always-on customer engagement, is searching for a MEA Presales Manager to join their team in UAE.

The Presales Manager MEA will work within the global presales team reporting into the VP Presales.

The role is hands-on supporting the sales team across the Middle East & Africa with frequent travel across the region (approximately 30-50%)

Requirements

• Have 12+ years’ experience in an OSS/BSS environment either with an operator or product vendor.
• They will have 6+ years’ experience successfully interacting in a collaborative way with both sales, marketing and product organizations.
• They will have 6+years’ experience working in a competitive vendor environment responsible for responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
• They will have excellent expertise in subscriber convergent charging models, knowledge of OSS network standards such as 3GPP and protocols such as Diameter & CAMEL and how OSS network systems interact with the BSS.
• Knowledge of BSS architectures including CRM, self-care, order management, charging, billing, analytics etc.
• Experience of the TMForum framework and shared data model
• Significant knowledge of Linux and ability to create custom scripts using product API’s (REST / Java) and Linux scripting languages.
• Knowledge of operational processes for high availability and geographic redundancy.
• Ability to be able to understand and convey hardware specifications covering blade server technology, networking & load balancing
• Ability to create test scenarios demonstrating the functional and non-functional capabilities.
• Ability to translate business scenarios into technical workflows
• Ability to coordinate and complete RFx responses for new projects
• Can define the solution architecture covering required capabilities and key integration points
• Ability to represent and articulate the organisations solution to prospects & customers at both a technical (CTO/CIO) & business (CMO) level.
