The Prevention, Prediction and Behaviour Change Lead will be tasked with leading the development of roadmaps and operations in this exciting field and the development of a new portfolio of population-scale programmes.

Description

* Develop an operational population-scale programme road map with scientific, technical, clinical, public health and commercial validity, based on the translation of our data assets into new data and technology-enabled screening and behaviour programmes
* Demonstrate global domain expertise in the field of population-scale screening programmes, chronic disease prevention and behaviour change and work with the Head of Partnerships and broader business team to develop internally and where needed source external expertise in this field
* Support the Business in understanding value, ROI and strategic priorities in this space
* Work with the Head of Partnerships and wider Business to secure grants and funded collaborations in the area of expertise
* Interface with regulatory authorities and clinical care providers to develop population health screening programmes supporting national and international early disease identification and prevention initiatives
* Champion the translation of omic data, AI and advanced diagnostic technologies towards the transformation of population health screening and disease risk management at scale

Requirements

* PhD in health or life science field, and/or MD
* Epidemiology and / or MPH background
* 10 or more years in public health / population screening programme design
* Proven record of regulatory, clinical provider and payor engagement and partnership building with emphasis in the space of public health and disease prevention
* Advanced understanding of how data, AI and new technologies can transform early disease detection and prevention
* Proven domain expertise in chronic disease management including roll out of population-scale chronic disease programmes
* Programme design and delivery, Business acumen with the entrepreneurial skillset and can-do approach combining strategy and operations
* Knowledge of public health regulatory landscape in UAE and/or broader GCC
* Keen interest and/or proven experience in design and implementation of behaviour change programmes ideally including digital health / innovative tools
* Solid commercial and product-centric acumen with the ability to bridge the gap between tech, science and business
* Ability to liaise with executives, medical, biomedical, scientific, commercial and government stakeholders
* Previous experience in working with the government in the Middle East
* Solid ability to perceive, discover and nurture opportunity in ambiguous spaces
* Ability to approach population health, biomedical tech, screening technologies and related subjects generally / strategically, and when needed at depth with further study.
