Job description / Role
Our client is an International Architectural Façade and Glazing company. They have an urgent requirement for a Tendering/ Pricing Manager to join their team in Dubai. Candidates applying for this role must have 10 years experience in the construction industry, must have a Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying and must have experience doing the pricing for façade projects.
Responsibilities:
• Manages Quantity Survey and Estimation team, including monthly claim submissions, update of variation register and management of VQ submissions (in conjunction with PM staff).
• Vigorously chases client approval of variations.
• Assists Project Managers in the maintenance of NOD register.
• To ensure that all Contracts are prepared, executed and administered such that the company’s exposure to contractual liabilities are minimised.
• To provide supporting functions to our clients Project Managers, to assist in the successful completion of projects.
• Negotiates with suppliers with respect to payment terms.
• Manages all outgoing contractual correspondence with the client and Subcontractors/ suppliers.
• Prepares weekly & Bi-weekly Progress reports for Internal and client requirements
• Manages and updates the master programs including production of detailed and update timelines and progress charts
• Manages and updates monthly Cost to complete and forecast to complete
• Manages the preparation and presentation of project final account.
• Ensures client satisfaction and maintains a cordial and effective working relationship with key client contacts at all times.
• Vigilantly protects the financial and other interests of our clientsGroup of Companies.
• Maintains a direct line of communication to UAE General Manager and Executive team on all key matters.

• Bachelor's degree in relevant subject
• 5 -10 years experience
• Experience working for a contractor
• Experience working in a similar position on a façade project
• Previous experience leading a team
