Job description / Role
We are currently looking for a Principal Application Architect for an exciting opportunity here in Dubai. You will lead the development of new corporate IT standards and must be able to design, develop and govern the solution architecture of the Group.
Requirements
Applications are sought from those with the following experience;
• Bachelors Degree in Computer/Information Sciences
• Excellent English language skills
• Experience in large real-time mission critical application development (internet / customer facing applications / operations applications).
• Airline experience / Online retail / Banking / Logistics domain.
• Experience in end to end solution architecture delivery (Agile and work experience in large teams is required) Experience in designing and developing application in any cloud environment (Azure / AWS / GCP) Experience in SOA, Microservices and Containers.
• Experience in running production applications.
• Experience in addressing non-functional requirements such as availability, scalability.
• Application development experience supported by big data technologies and NO SQL databases.
• Experience in open source technologies.
• Hand-on, ability to code when required.
