Principal Design Architect/Manager

Job description / Role

My client is a leading multi disciplinary engineering consultancy with offices throughout the Middle east region. They are currently looking to recruit an experience design architect to fill a Principal Design role based in their busy Dubai office. The role will include;

• Direct a team of Creative Design Architects to prepare and present exceptional pre concept designs, concept designs for various high end / luxury building projects in UAE / GCC area.
• Exhibits thorough understanding of project design philosophy and provides input in developing design strategies relative to assigned task or area of responsibility.
• Production of unique architectural Pre-concept Design & Concept Design.
• Seeks creative and innovative solutions to assigned tasks and develops associated research and documentation of solutions.
• Think creatively to produce ideas and concepts, work with a wide range of software including Revit.
• To interact with the clients throughout the time of design stages till final approval.

Requirements

• Candidates should have a degree in Architecture and must have a proven background working for reputable architecture design companies.
• Candidates must have worked in a design management role before and should be familiar with Middle East design standards and specifications as well as have the ability to lead a multi national team, liaise with clients, manage and lead the design process from start to finish.
