Principal Offshore Structural Engineer

Abu Dhabi, UAE (site visits as per project requirements)

Full-time, 6-month renewable contract

Working schedule

9 hours per day, 5 days a week

Qualification

Minimum B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Structural Engineering
M.E./M.Tech in Structural Engineering highly preferred

Experience

• 18+ years of relevant offshore structural engineering experience
• Proven expertise in leading complex offshore structural design projects
• Strong technical leadership and mentoring capabilities

Technical skills and knowledge

• Advanced proficiency in structural analysis software such as SACS, USFOS, or equivalent
• Deep understanding of international codes (e.g., API RP 2A, AISC) and operator/client standards (e.g., ADNOC, TOTAL)
• Extensive experience in jackets, piled foundations, topside modules, integrated decks, bridges, flare structures, pipeline risers
• Installation engineering experience including float-over/float-off operations
• Expertise in constructability reviews and brownfield modifications
• In-service and pre-service structural analyses
• Strong background in weight control engineering, including estimates and reporting

Leadership and interface management

• Lead technical coordination with project management teams, client representatives, certification authorities, subcontractors, and global work-share offices
• Drive quality, safety, and compliance across all project phases including conceptual, FEED, EPC, and EPIC
