Description
Key Responsibilities:
* Investment Analysis: Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including financial modeling, market research, and competitive analysis.
* Deal Sourcing: Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals, entrepreneurs, and intermediaries to source new investment opportunities.
* Financial Modeling: Build and maintain detailed financial models to support investment theses, valuation analyses, and scenario planning.
* Market Research: Analyze industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes to inform investment decisions and strategies.
* Portfolio Management: Assist in monitoring and managing portfolio companies, working closely with management teams to drive operational improvements and strategic initiatives.
* Reporting: Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal review and discussions with the investment committee.
* Collaboration: Work closely with senior team members to support the execution of transactions and enhance the firm's investment strategies.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
* 2-4 years of experience in private equity or investment banking - must be with a top tier PE or bulge bracket IB in London/US/Canada
* Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
