Process Engineer

Job description / Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Process Engineer to join our Oil and Gas team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The Process Engineer will be responsible for developing, analyzing, and optimizing processes to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the production facilities. This role requires a systematic approach to problem solving, with a strong focus on safety, cost, and environmental performance.

Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement process engineering solutions to optimize the production of oil and gas.
• Analyze, optimize, and troubleshoot process engineering designs for efficient and safe operation.
• Develop and maintain process safety management plans and procedures.
• Monitor and inspect equipment, processes, and systems to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently.
• Conduct risk assessments and root cause analysis to identify potential areas of improvement.
• Develop operating instructions and procedures for process operations.
• Prepare process engineering reports and documentation for all projects.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of process engineering best practices and regulations.
• Analyze data and provide technical advice to ensure process safety and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in process engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of process safety and environmental regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment.
• Proficient in the use of process engineering software.
• Experience leading and managing projects from conception to completion.
