Process Engineer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in the oil and gas industry in UAE-Dubai. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing and improving the efficiency of our processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and contributing to the overall success of our operations in the region.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing cost-effective, efficient processes within the oil and gas industry.
- Analyzing and optimizing existing processes to improve operational efficiency and minimize environmental impact.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that process designs are aligned with project goals and company objectives.
- Developing and implementing process safety management programs to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Conducting risk assessments and recommending improvements to mitigate potential hazards.
- Troubleshooting operational issues and providing technical expertise to resolve process-related challenges.

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in process engineering within the oil and gas industry, with a strong understanding of industry-specific processes and technologies.
- Proficiency in process simulation software and other relevant engineering tools.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to process safety and environmental compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for process optimization and improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Certification or professional licensure in process engineering or related field is a plus.
