Key Accountabilities
- Provide process engineering services for a wide range of infrastructure and oil & gas projects involving treatment of water (desalination) and wastewater (sewage, industrial effluent and produced water), intakes and pumping stations, utilities, drainage.
- Produce engineering deliverables
- Calculations and simulations (UF, RO, Biological treatment)
- Study/ Design Reports, Lists
- Give input to Drafting personnel for preparation of drawings (BFD, PFDs, UFDs, P&IDs) and checking of drawings
- Understanding of design guidelines, local standards, and procedures and following the same to execute assigned work effectively.
- Adhere to assigned budgets and schedules.
- Assistance to Lead Engineers
- Assist in the preparation of technical and commercial proposals.
- Inter department co-ordination if required
- Check compliance with QA/Safety/Environment goals.
- Quality Assurance - Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Worley Quality Management System.
- Safety - Responsible for personal safety and implementing safe working practices.
- HSE - Understand and follow OH&S procedures.
Requirements:
Job Specific Knowledge:
- Engineering and design in water and wastewater treatment, preferably in Oil and gas, to be able to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to the clients
- Knowledge of the fundamental principles, theories, concepts, processes and procedures, the local, international regulations, codes and standards and a good understanding of practices applicable to engineering design for water, wastewater treatment, utilities & infrastructure projects.
- Understanding of engineering design in consultancy for delivery of projects in water, wastewater treatment and storm water system, covering all design stages (feasibility, concept development, FEED and Detailed design).
- Good knowledge of process design of equipment - pumps, blowers, utilities, relief valves, hydraulics design.
- Good knowledge of various technologies in the water and wastewater treatment
- Experienced in simulation through software in water and wastewater treatment systems
Job Specific Experience:
- Minimum years' of relevant design experience on a range of industrial infrastructure/ oil and gas projects.
Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Experience working in the Middle East.
- Experience in industrial water and wastewater infrastructure/ oil & gas projects.
