This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior process engineer with a proven track record in designing, optimizing, and overseeing chemical processes to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective operations in the oil and gas industry for a high-profile client.

The key objectives for this role are:
- Develop and optimize chemical processes to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective operations
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring the application of best engineering practices
- Ensure the quality and integrity of process designs through rigorous review and validation
- Ensure all processes comply with safety standards and environmental regulations
- Identify and resolve issues in existing processes to maintain smooth and safe operations
- Implement new technologies and methodologies to enhance process performance and safety
- Work closely with other engineering disciplines, operations teams, and stakeholders to ensure integrated and effective process solutions
Responsibilities
- Develop and validate steady state process simulation models
- Perform heat and mass balance for the process system
- Perform steady state and transient hydraulic simulations (single/multiphase flow) to size production/injection pipelines
- Review steady-state and transient simulations to assess pressure drop, temperature profiles, hydrate/wax risks, etc.
- Provide flow assurance support for offshore production systems, pipelines, and subsea networks
- Evaluate and recommend mitigation strategies for flow assurance challenges such as slugging, asphaltene, scale, and sand
- Review and validate operating envelopes and production profiles for new and existing systems
- Interface with process, pipeline, and operations teams to ensure safe and efficient flow regimes
- Prepare technical documentation including flow assurance reports, simulation summaries, and risk assessments

Expected:
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field
- Minimum 15 years' experience in the oil & gas industry, with at least 5 years in flow assurance engineering
- Offshore production and multiphase flow experience is required
- Hands-on experience with flow assurance software (e.g., OLGA, PIPESIM, HYSYS) is preferred
- Familiarity with ADNOC standards and offshore pipeline operations is an advantage
Skills:
- Strong understanding of multiphase flow behavior and pipeline hydraulics
- Proficient in preparing simulation models and interpreting results
- Good coordination and communication across disciplines
- Skilled in technical reporting and troubleshooting operational flow issues
