About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist/ Sourcing agent to manage sourcing and procurement activities across diverse industries, including laboratory chemicals, medical equipment, agricultural inputs, and industrial machinery. The ideal candidate will have strong supplier networks, exceptional negotiation skills, good knowledge using of online tools to identify suppliers, tender preparation and expertise in ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers globally and manufacturers to source high-quality products.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms to optimize cost and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards (e.g., ISO, FDA, CE).
• Conduct market research to analyze trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and recommend innovative sourcing strategies.
• Manage procurement processes, including preparing tender documents, issuing purchase orders, tracking shipments, and coordinating with logistics providers.
• Evaluate supplier performance regularly and maintain strong business relationships.
• Handle risk assessments, resolve procurement issues, and mitigate delays.
• Maintain accurate and detailed procurement records for reporting and analysis.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or any related field.

Experience:
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in procurement or sourcing in one or more of the specified industries.
• Demonstrated success in cost optimization and supplier negotiations.

Technical Skills:
• Proficiency with procurement tools and software.
• Profieciency in sourcing the right suppliers
• Knowledge of industry-specific certifications and regulations (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA, CE).
• Familiarity with international trade terms (Incoterms) and customs processes.

Soft Skills:
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM, CIPS).
• Experience with international procurement and logistics coordination.
• Familiarity with sustainability practices in sourcing.

Salary:
AED 4,000 to 8,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
