Job description / Role
I'm currently recruiting a procurement specialist/ procurement business partner for a government entity in Abu Dhabi, the successful candidate must have the following credentials:
* Experience procuring equipment's and services for entertainment and leisure events
* Fluent Arabic & English
* Based in Abu Dhabi or willing to relocate

Description
The procurement business partner events procurement must be a fluent Arabia & English speaker and will be responsible for:
* Defining and executing sourcing strategies, in close collaboration with business stakeholders
* Profiling the spend category, collecting & reviewing latest spend and internal demand data
* Identifying and evaluating potential sourcing strategies; running risk analysis and documenting sourcing strategies
* Execute sourcing strategies; (RFI, RFP/RFQ)
* Developing evaluation criteria, and evaluating commercial tender responses
* Negotiating contracts with suppliers and optimizing costs
* Implementing and monitoring negotiated contracts; monitor contract compliance
* Benchmarking negotiated solutions against alternate supply market options
* Leveraging and sharing information and data (e.g. supplier, contract, specification) with the wider team
* Overseeing all tendering activity within the category
* Segmenting suppliers and determining relationship management strategies
* Participating and leading cross-functional sourcing teams based on the nature of festival/event/campaign/business need
* Reviewing existing sourcing strategies and proposing new ideas to increase efficiency.
Job Offer
* 25,000 AED - 30,000 AED
Requirements
* Fluent in Arabic & English speaking reading & writing
* Experience procuring equipment's and services for the events industry (non-corporate events)
* Confident with internal stakeholder management
* Based in Abu Dhabi are willing to relocate
