Procurement Coordinator

Job description / Role

- Collaborate with departments to develop procurement strategies and plans
- Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability
- Manage procurement contracts and purchase orders
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Maintain procurement records and data in a centralized database
- Assist with budget preparation and monitor procurement expenditures
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Coordinate with customs brokers and logistics companies to ensure smooth import and export of goods
- Perform other procurement-related duties as assigned

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration relevant education and/or experience.
- 4 - 5 years purchasing experience in the electrical industry, UAE
- Thorough knowledge of electrical equipment and construction materials.
- Demonstrated accomplishments in handling diverse and complex sourcing transactions, negotiations and contractual responsibilities.
- Understand legal terms and conditions
- Working knowledge of procurement techniques, procedures, policies and accounting.
