Responsibilities
• Establish and implement systematic procedures for procurement, material management taking into consideration the corporate policy, QA/QC and HSE systems.
• To ensure proper coordination with suppliers for in time delivery of the material in accordance with agreed terms and conditions.
• Submit material submittals and prequalification documents for approval.
• Review and evaluate quotations to prepare cost and technical comparative analysis.
• Material inspection request (MIR) upon delivery. Monitor & Coordinate material delivery on site, ensuring that the material meets the specification require for the project.
• Analyze all suppliers and select the most suitable suppliers to deliver quality products at competitive pricing with the correct required Spec.
• Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost, Payment terms and quality for maximum benefit for the company.
Requirements
• B.Sc. Civil Engineering or equivalent in the field of specialization
• In-depth knowledge of project procurement, logistics and recognized practices and principals.
• 5+ years of experience working in a Contractor company in the Middle East and in GCC.
• Must done Project Planning, Budgeting & Controlling.
