Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives
• Vendor Evaluation: Conduct assessments to identify and qualify vendors based on quality, cost, and reliability.
• Request for Proposal (RFP) Creation: Draft and distribute RFPs to potential vendors, outlining the specifications and requirements for products or services needed. Manage the entire procurement lifecycle, from requisition to payment
• Cost Analysis: Perform detailed cost analyses to identify optimal procurement options aligned with budget constraints and quality standards.
• Negotiation: Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure advantageous contract terms and conditions.
• Compliance Monitoring: Keep procurement activities compliant with internal policies and external regulations. Implement and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and best practices
• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the site-based quality control team to ensure the purchased materials meet all necessary quality metrics.
• Order Management: Oversee the entire ordering process, from initial requisition to final delivery, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Maintain and nurture relationships with suppliers for long-term partnership and potential cost savings.
• Technical Liaison: Serve as the point of contact between Engineering Departments and suppliers to clarify technical specifications or resolve issues.
• Contract Management: Administer supplier contracts and agreements, ensuring they meet both short-term needs and long-term strategic goals.
• Vendor Development: Review periodically performance of the vendors based on the Cost, Quality & Service parameters and prepare a pool of good vendors for ongoing and upcoming projects. Conduct regular performance reviews.
• Material Bank: Create a bank of martials getting used in regular project work. The details include like material specification, source, landing cost etc so that materials from the bank can be recommended for new projects

Requirements:

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Proven minimum 5 years of relevant project procurement experience in Civil/Interior Fit Out/Finishing projects/Renovation work.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Skills
• In-depth knowledge of procurement strategies, processes, and best practices
• Knowledge of materials used in High End Villa Finishing works such as Stones (Granite, Marbles, Tiles), Wall Panelling, Joinery, Lights, CP Fixtures & Sanitary ware and other items required for finishing works.
• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to identify potential cost-saving opportunities throughout the procurement process.

Salary:
AED 5,000 to 10,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: Annul Paid leave as per UAE labour law + Return Air Ticket to Native country
