Position : Procurement Assistant
Department : Procurement
Reporting : Procurement lead
Location : Dubai, UAE

Role and Responsibilities

You will play a critical role in the management, control and direction of either Outbound, Inbound or Reverse Logistics area of Operations within our warehouse. The extent of your duties will include:

- Lead the Purchase to Payment Process (P2P).
- Keep accurate and up-to-date vendor and pricing data for Fetchr UAE,
- Take purchase requests from various departments within Fetchr and get price quotes from suppliers.
- Contact suppliers to schedule deliveries or to discuss shortages or missed deliveries.
- Prepare purchase orders
- Strong emphasis on accuracy, detail, and order

- Excellent math and computer skills
- Ability to listen, persuade and negotiate
- Strong reading, speaking, and writing skills
- Fluency in English
- Good working knowledge of administrative procedures, as well as various computer applications and programs
- Energetic and willing to learn
- Knowledge of procurement processes, policies and procedures is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple requests simultaneously to meet goals and deadlines
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Great communication and inter personal skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
