Responsibilities:
• Identify, evaluate, and source materials, equipment, and subcontractor services required for construction projects.
• Manage RFQs, tenders, and supplier negotiations to secure the best value.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials, coordinating closely with project teams and suppliers.
• Maintain and update the approved supplier and subcontractor database.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contract conditions to optimize procurement costs.
• Evaluate supplier performance, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and delivery standards.
• Escalate supplier disputes, delivery issues, and non-conformance cases.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, local regulations, and contractual obligations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate purchase orders, contracts, and procurement reports.
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for audits and internal reviews.
• Coordinate with logistics providers and suppliers to ensure smooth import/export and on-time delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels and recommend stock replenishment strategies where needed.
• Address potential supply chain risks and propose mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
• Bachelor´s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field. Certification in Procurement or Purchasing is advantageous.
• Min 7 years of experience in procurement in the Construction Main Contracting industry.
• Proficiency in procurement best practices, vendor negotiations, and contract management.
• Familiarity with Abu Dhabi local procurement regulations and import/export procedures.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple procurement tasks efficiently.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to interact and build relationships with suppliers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
Salary:
AED
20,000 to 30,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
