Employment: Full Time

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to manage the company’s supply of products and services. Procurement Manager responsibilities include strategizing to find cost-effective deals and suppliers. The Procurement Manager’s duty is to discover the best ways to cut procurement expenses, so that the company can invest in growth and people. Our business is in the Aluminum and Construction Industries so experience in this field is a requirement.

Job Description:
• To discover profitable suppliers and initiate successful procurement partnerships. To ensure the purchase of quality products that meet required specifications for competitive prices in a timely fashion.

Typical duties will include:
• Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies
• Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organisation partnerships
• Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
• Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services
• Finalise purchase details of orders and deliveries
• Examine and test existing contracts
• Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
• Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients
• Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
• Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs

Requirements

• Experience as a Procurement Clerk or Junior Buyer, Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics, Applied Science, or a Related Field

Working Experience & Skills
• Proven working experience as a Procurement Manager, Procurement Officer or Head of Procurement
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in same or similar role.
• Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques Talent in negotiations and networking
• Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
• Experience in collecting and analyzing data
• Strong leadership capabilities
• Microsoft literate
• Organised and methodical
• Experience working in Aluminium industry is a must, Aluminium fabrication a bonus
• Experience in working in procurement of wood is beneficial

Trade Qualifications
• Accreditation by the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) would be beneficial.
