Job description / Role
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
• To discover profitable suppliers and initiate successful procurement partnerships. To ensure the purchase of quality products that meet required specifications for competitive prices in a timely fashion.
• Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies
• Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships
• Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
• Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services
• Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
• Examine and test existing contracts
• Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
• Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients
• Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
• Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
Salary:
AED
15,000 to 20,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Requirements
• Open to any nationality
• Male/Female
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or any related course
• With 6 to 10 years’ experience as a Procurement Clerk or Junior Buyer in Fit Out
• Excellent negotiating skills
• In depth knowledge in Procurement process
• Ability to source suppliers and initiate business partnerships
• Ability to work under pressure and meet requirements in a timely manner
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
