Job description / Role
Hotel Indigo Dubai Downtown is looking for a Tenacious and Shrewd Procurement Manager to secure the resources needed for the opening of this vibrant lifestyle hotel. Under the guidance of the Director of Finance and Business Support & within the limits of InterContinental Hotels Group policy and procedure, this position is responsible for managing and controlling purchasing systems and procedures to continually improve the supply chain process, ensuring cost effective contracting of products and services, and promoting compliance internally with established standards.
Your forte is Translating operating forecasts into material requirements plans and thereby determining standard stock and re-order levels with Department Heads and Management. We are in search of an individual who is not afraid to challenge the norm, tackle challenges head on from different angles and who aspires to be part of a young, dynamic and eclectic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Dubai Market, with a track record of market knowledge and reliable connections. If that’s you, we would love to meet you!
Requirements
Ideally, the candidate must have a relevant degree in Finance/Accounting or related business discipline; and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role. He/she must have worked in a high business volume hotel and procurement function. Must be computer savvy, with excellent MS Excel skills and previous experience with FBM system is an advantage.
