Job description / Role
Charterhouse is exclusively working with one of the most iconic event organisations in the world to hire a Procurement Manager.
This role is a superb opportunity for someone who is looking for an exceptional challenge in procurement. You will be handling all aspects of procurement which would include but not limited to management of complex multi-tier global supply chains, strong technical skills with management software and monitor, measure and analyse performance across all aspects of procurement. You will have strong sustainability skills that ensure protection and promotion of responsible business practices in global supply chain.
The successful candidate should have a minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in a similar role and be degree educated with a focus on sustainability, procurement, supply chain, contract management or similar discipline. Strong leadership skills, ability to work to tight deadlines and prior experience in working in events or regional experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must. Due to the nature of the role, Arabic would be a distinct advantage.
