Procurement Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process for our Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects. You will ensure that all purchasing activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, budget constraints, and project timelines, while maintaining strong relationships with vendors and suppliers. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional negotiation skills, a deep understanding of procurement best practices, and a commitment to achieving operational excellence.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's objectives and project requirements.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for MEP projects, including identifying needs, sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to understand project specifications and requirements, ensuring that procurement activities support project timelines and budgets.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities, pricing, and quality of goods and services.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and conditions that benefit the organization.
- Monitor and analyze procurement trends and practices, making recommendations for improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the procurement process.
- Prepare and maintain procurement documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier evaluations.
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
- Manage procurement budgets, track expenditures, and report on procurement activities to senior management.

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CIPS, CPP) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement management, preferably within the MEP or construction industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing procurement processes for large-scale projects.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficient in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- A deep understanding of procurement regulations, market dynamics, and supply chain management principles.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.

Salary:
AED 10,000 to 15,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
