Job description / Role
- Developing and implementing procurement policies and procedures
- Ensure that procurement contracts are processed efficiently and that they are in line with company regulations, specifically for the Iran business objectives
- Define procurement category strategy and run risk assessments and identify strategic levers
- Ensure that all tender evaluation reports are reviewed and in line with RFQ requirements, company guidelines and government laws
- Maintain and develop close business relationships with key stakeholders in order to fully understand company requirements (related to indirect materials and services, i.e. FM, Marketing, IT, Professional Services)
- Manage efficient and on-time completion of all procurement processes and documentation
Requirements
- Minimum degree in Procurement / Supply Chain, Business or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated strategic sourcing experience
- Good knowledge and experience of indirect categories including professional services, marketing, IT and FM
- Experience in leading ongoing strategic negotiations
- Strong understanding of customs clearance and logistics processes in Iran
- Understanding of international contract laws and FIDIC rules and regulations
- Fluent English and Farsi is essential for this role
