Procurement Manager (Fixed 1 Year Contract)

Charterhouse is undertaking a search for a government legacy project, who is looking to recruit an experienced Procurement Manager on a fixed 1-year contract.
The Procurement Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of procurement activities, policies and processes, and convert the business direction into project-wide procurement strategies.
The role will manage contract creation, execution and analysis for maximizing operational and financial performance whilst minimizing risk. You will establish, implement and manage the standard contract tendering and contractual documentation, in line with compliance.
This management role, will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the procurement function, providing guidance in the related areas such as, encouraging teamwork and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards.
Additionally, the Procurement Manager will over-see the entire process including scheduling activities, scoping and tendering packages, evaluation, negotiation, finalisation and production of documentation to ensure policies and processes.
To be considered for this role, the candidate will be a senior procurement professional with a minimum of ten years’ experience, three of which should have been spent in a managerial or leadership role within an international environment.
The incumbent will hold a relevant Degree from a recognized University and be industry qualified within procurement – MCIPS or equivalent. Thorough knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle and SAP are essential for this role. Due to the role being a one-year contract, candidates must have a UAE attested higher education certificate to be considered for this role.
