Job description / Role
Our client is one of the leading Structural Steel Projects Engineering, Manufacturing, Painting and Erection / Construction within the United Arab Emirates and other Gulf Countries.
The Company is urgently seeking to recruit suitably qualified and experienced applicants for Procurement Manager position. The role is based in Dubai.
Requirements
Applicant must have minimum 10 years experience in structural steel industry with strong networks of key suppliers.
The suitable candidate will be managing and dealing with a procurement team.
You will be expected to lead the team and motivate , train and develop your staff . You will have a can do attitude that will encourage and bring on your department. At times you will be expected to be hands on and at other times hands off depending upon the situation.
You will be managing and coordinating all systems and implementing all policies for the department. You will be tasked with evaluating the existing supply chain, sub contractor reviews & appointment of new suppliers. The role involves constant review of materials , construction methods & angles to which you can cut cost for the business.
You will be a key member of the team involved with working within & management on tenders.
