Job description / Role
Our client, a leading company in the UAE is looking for an Emirati Procurement Specialist to join their growing team in Dubai.
As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and controlling the sourcing, purchasing, inventory control and logistics in support of the company. You have to ensure maximum value is derived from purchase expenditure, ensuring continuity of supply while minimising inventory investment.
Requirements
To qualify for this role, ideal candidate must have a relevant degree (Technical degree, Business, Supply Chain Management or Certification in Materials & Service Management) and with at least five years of purchasing experience preferably in the oil and gas operations or similar industry. Candidate must also have experience in handling high value complex procurement agreements and experience in expediting is highly beneficial. This position is open to Emirati/ UAE nationals only.
