Job description / Role
On behalf of an award winning and well-funded tech start-up company, iTalent is looking for a Procurement Specialist to support the on-site operation. The individual is dedicated procurement inventory control lead, who will manage to source all the team’s demands and monitor/manage stock levels.
You will need to be well aware of the different IT products. You will also need to be very organized and structured as you will be managing a lot of parts that will be dispersed across the on-location support resources.
Roles and Responsibilities include:
• Understand all part requirements and setup strategic agreements with local and international suppliers
• Ensure the best agreements are set for the business in terms of commercial and technical performance.
• Constantly monitor stock levels and ensure stock is replenished when needed
• Issue parts to all monitor parts life cycle on the system
• Constantly monitor aged stock and ensure parts are sold in the market before they pass their age limit
• Monitor quality of parts by carrying out initial quality assurance tests and monitoring faulty returned parts
• Keep a log on supplier performance based on part quality, delivery speed, and other KPIs
• Understand the different IT hardware products (laptops, phones, etc..)
Requirements
• 5+ years’ procurement experience
• Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred.
• High energy, charismatic, innovative, creative
• Self-motivated and thrives in a fast-past environment
• Fluent in English
