Job description / Role
Specialist who can effectively manage our sourcing and purchasing needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for procuring IT hardware, and networking products essential to our business operations, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness. You will collaborate with internal teams, manage supplier relationships, and handle the entire procurement process, from identifying resources to managing contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sourcing & Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and engage with reliable vendors for IT and networking products.
• Product Procurement: Source a wide range of products including servers, routers, switches, software, cloud services, and other networking equipment.
• Vendor Negotiation: Negotiate competitive pricing, favorable terms, and timely delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and ensure resources are available to meet business needs without overstocking.
• Contract Management: Draft, review, and maintain supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the IT and network operations teams and sales department to ensure timely procurement of necessary resources of requirements or inquiry.
• Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, product innovations, and pricing to make informed procurement decisions.
• Cost Optimization: Implement cost-saving measures while maintaining product quality.
• Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities are in line with internal policies and local regulations.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
• Proven experience (4+ years) in procurement within the IT and networking sector.
• In depth knowledge of IT products, networking hardware, and brand player in the market.
• Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in IT and networking.
• UAE working Experience is required
