Job description / Role
The Air Freight Product Manager will focus on growing the product and achieving targets and services whilst providing knowledge and expertise to the clients:
• Actively seek, identify and develop sales pipeline of airfreight customers within the UAE.
• Undertake joint sales calls with field sales, strategize and assist the key account sales team to actively promote and sell Air Freight (Imports and Exports).
• To develop strategic alliances with airlines to optimize pricing and products on our key trade lanes.
• Liaise with intra FSL offices and overseas agents.
• Close the sale and assist in the implementation process by linking with operations, customer service and management.
• Manage the relationship between the dedicated operations team, client, finance and any other key growth targets.
• Ensure product training is delivered to the sales and customer service teams, periodically.
• Ensure product pricing is regularly updated.
• Ensure risk is minimized through detailed documentation of all transaction and verbal commitments, between customer and the company, as well as between sales and operations.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business
• At least 3 years of sales experience within the industry
• Prior experience in Import and Export of Air Freight
• Must be fluent in English. Knowledge of Arabic/ Hindi is preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Well versed with MS Office
• UAE Driving License
• Self-motivated
