Job description / Role
We are currently seeking a product manager with experience in the construction industry in the UAE. The ideal person, should have worked in an engineering consultancy office as a project manager or a similar role in the UAE. He/she should be very familiar with the entire process of construction in the UAE including the rules and regulations governing constructions of buildings and properties in the UAE. Responsibilities and accountabilities for the role include:
- Translate real life construction processes and work flows into digital format for implementation on a digital platform
- Develop complete product specifications, functionality, design, work flows, and processes for each product / module.
- Work with the software development team to ensure the developed products matches the original specifications and functionality
- Test each of the product function and ensure it is bug free and work as intended. Suggest enhancements whenever required
- Develop and own the product monetization goals and monitor progress
- Suggest ideas for new products / modules that serves the construction industry
- Manage the product to ensure it is delivered in time and within budget
- Produce editorial content to be used in the platform
Requirements
- Minimum bachelors degree in a relevant field from an accredited university
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a engineering consultant office in the UAE with preference with those with experience in product development
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills
- Complete familiarity and experience in the UAE construction field
- Advance skills in using Microsoft office products
