Job description / Role
Job Purpose: Being responsible for entire Product Category, Product Manager has to enhance the performance of each Product across the region thru strong product positioning, market driven planning, execution & monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Roadmap, transition chart, Pricing updates & distribution to the team
- Market Intelligence, competition landscape analysis
- PSI management & ROI management
- Tracking Business opportunities and actual sales progress
- Analyzing and monitoring on the channel inventory/ Sell-thru capabilities and propose ideas for promotional programs to drive more sales
- Monitor and measure launched products and feed learnings back into product development process.
- Delivering proactive product lifecycle management (pre-launch, launch, product life and exit), preparing and managing NPI
- Drive definition of and execution against product go-to-market plan, including phasing and marketing.
- Integrating product strategies into overall channel GTM plans for the Company’s and Partners’ sales growth
- Drive cross-functional team to set qualitative objectives and quantitative goals
- Drive innovation, definition, deliverables planning (roadmap) and design of entirely new products and features to deliver against team and company goals.
- Building visibility and preference at the retail level thru impactful branding & innovative ISM solutions
- To maintain knowledge of marketing trends, developments and best practices.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in consumer and/or product management/product marketing role within home appliance. Previous experience working within product marketing organization is a must.
- Bachelor degree in marketing, business management or related area or equivalent experience.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) required
- Very detail oriented with a very strong analytical skills
- Should act professionally and represent the company with the highest standards of integrity at all times
- Solid negotiation, leadership, and professional presentation skills
- A “leader” personality - biased toward action, great collaborator and master disambiguator/simplifier - constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery.
- Grittiness. You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and tackle something hands-on, you persevere when others fall away.
- A never-ending desire to grow and learn
- Ability to travel when required (about 40%) in the Region
