Job description / Role
• Analyze market & industrial trends.
• Translate business and user needs into working solutions or technical specifications.
• Providing workshops and refresher courses in sales and marketing.
• Planning and assisting with product release and events.
• Performing product demonstrations for customers, staff, etc. & solving user problems.
• Making helpful product recommendations and suggestions to increase revenue.
• Support the development of customized solutions to existing NAVCOM products as per customer requirement.
• Sound knowledge in latest electronics & engineering trends, communication protocols & networking systems.
• Providing inputs & technical contents for technical documentation for user manuals & training document.
• Good electrical CAD Drawing knowledge, design drawings, schematic & electrical plans.
• Good IP/Networking knowledge
• Basic knowledge in automation systems, wirings & digital switching systems.
Requirements
• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree within electrical / electronic / telecommunications.
• Technical background which would allow an understanding of concepts and all areas of Electrical/Electronics/Networking & Automation
• Proficient in CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD) and drafting procedures.
• Effective Communication – oral/written & spoken.
• Strong technical knowledge on Marine electronics, interfacing to various NAVCOM devices.
• Knowledge on land based marine project for Port / Control room.
• Broad knowledge on all the equipment on a vessel/ Rig.
• Knowledge of various software such MS Office, Autocad etc.
