Product Payment Operations Manager

Job description / Role

Guildhall is seeking an experienced Product Payment Operations Manager for a leading online payment solutions company in the GCC region. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in online payments, payment aggregation, and API integrations. You will be responsible for managing technical providers, ensuring timely delivery of product roadmaps, and aligning payment solutions with merchant needs, including the integration of popular GCC payment methods.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the stability and performance of the payment gateway, optimizing success rates and KPIs.
- Oversee the integration of new payment methods, including GCC solutions (e.g., STC Pay, Tamara, Apple Pay).
- Manage relationships with technical providers and ensure timely delivery of product roadmaps.
- Develop and document system changes, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Support integration, troubleshoot issues, and address customization requests.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the payment gateway product.
- Work cross-functionally with finance, partnerships, risk, and customer service teams to meet business requirements.
- Lead business intelligence efforts and oversee disaster recovery strategies.

- Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in the online payments industry, with expertise in payment aggregation and managing pay-ins/pay-outs.
- Proficient in S2S payment API integrations, Java-based API frameworks, web and mobile JavaScript SDKs, and Apple Pay deployment.
- Experience with payment systems like MPGS, CYBERSOURCE Direct API, STC Pay, Tamara, Tabby, Fawry, etc.
- Software development background is an advantage.
- Ability to create technical documentation meeting industry standards and merchant requirements.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in English (required), Arabic (advantage).
