Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a luxury fashion brand who is looking to hire a Production Manager to be based in Dubai. As the Production Manager you will be in charge of the stores atelier.
Reporting to the CEO and Creative Designer, you will ensure timely delivery of sourcing, sampling and production of goods. You will develop time and action calendars for all suppliers / internal production atelier, regularly visit suppliers to check on production and QC and work with the pre-production team to develop production-ready samples. You will also work closely with the Operations Director and sales team to ensure that monthly production capacity is utilised whilst monitoring production status of all programs by season and recommending appropriate action if issues arise.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a minimum of 5 years' luxury fashion experience and be fluent in English. It is essential you have knowledge of CAD software, developing grading and preparing tech packs with the use of the Gerber system. Fluency in Italian would be a distinct advantage.
