Job description / Role
• Work closely with Meat Plant Manager for the entire operations – butchery, meat processing, packaging, compliance and distribution
• Responsible to ensure adequate steps are taken and employees are held accountable to achieving all KPI’s.
• Adherence to all good manufacturing practices, company policies and food safety, HACCP, and quality assurance procedures.
• Responsible in managing the budget
• Responsible for assisting in various inventory control functions, including proper stocking, scanning, rotation, and coordinating of weekly and monthly physical inventories.
• Creates production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignments.
Requirements
• Extensive experience in meat processing and production
• Management or people handling experience
• Can do personality
• Expert in reporting, planning and budgeting
