Employment: Full Time

Production Operator, Offshore Project, Long term contract, U.A.E

One of the ADNOC group are currently searching for an experienced Production Operator to participate in the initial walk through, prestart, pre-commissioning, commissioning and operational checks of plant and equipment at the various yards and vendor shops. Work safely following the approved procedures for his activity. Monitoring and data recording of all parameters during these checks and troubleshooting of any problems.

Duties Include:
- Familiarity in operation of all plant and process equipment and their associated control systems, pre commissioning and operational checks of plant and equipment.
- Actively participate in the various commissioning activities of modules along with project staff and vendors in the yards or vendor shops.
- Report unplanned operational deviations to supervisor and take corrective action wherever required.
- Ensure that process units and equipment being commissioned are checked regularly and record and/or check as necessary that data is accurately and regularly recorded.
- Using his previous experience should be able to identify and highlight any bottlenecks and maintenance issues in the installations to avoid additional modification work.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on activities carried out and also prepare progress reports.
- Ensure conducting all operations safely on basis of understanding process operations and inherent automated safety devices and systems (e.g. equipment, protection systems, Hi / Lo Pressure protection systems, etc...) and aware of all fire & gas and H2S protection systems and procedures.
- Be physically fit bodily and mentally to work on 12 hrs. shifts, day and night under various weather conditions known about UAE- Abu Dhabi , mostly in a non A/C working conditions and following HSE procedures.
- Monitor jobs under work permits, undertake all hot' works to completion and attend inspections and certification of vessels.
- Able to perform line pressure testing and all associated as per the client's standards and other codes.
- Participate in the re-commissioning of equipment and wells when maintenance work has been completed.
- Undertake other similar or related duties such as preparing daily site and locations surveys, and work logs. Maintaining work site clean, tidy and safe, checking status of equipment before leaving on completion of work and reporting any deviations from standard.
- Follow company HSE regulations and maintains high Standard of environment, safety and good housekeeping.
- Produces simple isometric sketches from measurements as taken on-site as required by his supervisor.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Discipline
- 5 years' experience in oilfield operations including 3 years offshore
- Good written and spoken knowledge Of English With good communication skills.
