Employment: Full Time

The Program Launch Manager is responsible for coordinating the effective launches of all New, Major, MCM, MCP and significant Annual (LCI) product programs for the Middle-East region. In addition the Program Launch Manager will be responsible for the coordination of New Source plants and new Country additions to the ME portfolio. This person is will arrange meetings for all relevant stakeholders, and will manage all launch activities from approximately 27 months prior to Start of Sales based on a global template for timing by activity. Regular updates will be given to management, and a high level of interaction will be required across most functions at MEO: Planning, Quality, Marketing, Sales, Aftersales, Finance, Purchasing and Communications.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the launch of future products by generating key stakeholder buy-off on mutually-agreed decisions via utilization of a global launch process to produce timely and appropriately executed launches.

Program Launch Management
• Arrange and administer regular meetings with key stakeholders on all programs with the appropriate frequency.
• Manage New, Major, MCM, MCP and significant LCI programs
• Pre-program Initiation Management (-101 to -60 weeks from SORP)
• Program Initiation to cross-functional team at -60 weeks from SORP (PCT)
• Track progress to template, assess risks, and escalate issues to team leaders as necessary.
• Ensure balanced approach to program decisions ensuring all stakeholder voices are heard and the best overall approach is taken.
• Ensuring updates are provided by relevant stakeholders in their field of responsibility.
• Issue meeting minutes and follow up on issues as required.
• Program SORP timing reviews to support CTF, Marketing and Communications launch activities
• SORP timing reviews to support MEO deliverables

Manage the MVB Ordering Process
• MVB ordering and timing single point of contact for programs managed
• MVB ordering consolidation and internal approval
• Conduct Ad-hoc MVB inspections at plant for significant programs

Management Reporting
• Monthly management reporting (PLQ) Post Program Initiation highlighting Yellow and Red issues and recommendations for solution
• Timely escalation of critical issues to relevant management for resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree. Preferably post-graduate degree or MBA.
• At least 5 years automotive experience with strong cross-functional operational experience/knowledge, supported by good product knowledge within the automotive industry.
