Program Manager, MENA Ops Integration

Amazon Worldwide Operations is the underlying fulfillment and customer service engine that ensures Amazon creates the same consistent, world-class customer experience every time.

We are looking for high-potential, flexible, innovative, and forward-thinking professionals to join MENA Ops Integration. Are you ready to drive high-visibility, strategic, revenue-generating projects as well as leverage Lean methodologies to lead Operational process improvement initiatives? Are you equally comfortable digging into business requirements as you are drilling into architecture and design with development teams?

In this role, you will be responsible for working with category teams to drive vendor alignments and operational performance in a highly business critical model of fulfillment. You will also lead many process improvement projects, both for the site and the network, to drive enhancements in viz. Quality, Cost and Delivery. This position involves regular communication with senior management on status, risks and change control. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential, as are a willingness to "roll up your sleeves" and get into the details that will make Operations world-class.

Primary Responsibilities:

Program strategy and direction:

Continually assess the needs of Vendors, market trends, competitive opportunities and threats in defining and evolving the selling on Amazon program strategy in your area of program ownership. Define both long term strategy and short term plans to achieve the program vision and deliver business results.

Roadmap Planning:

Ensure consistent execution of program life cycle processes from concept to launch. Provide value-based prioritization of program development initiatives to ensure maximum ROI and market-driven alignment. Deliver world-class innovation in features, usability and program performance in consistent cadence of releases. Manage a cross-functional process for prioritizing, delivering and launching major program releases. Be the internal and external authority and advocate for your given area of focus. You will also lead and coordinate the service launch across all organizations.

Requirements Definition:

Develop comprehensive program plans, incorporating market requirements, define the competitive arena, and establish the objectives, strategies, and actions required to achieve business goals. Produce high quality MRDs and PRDs and effectively prioritize and manage the scope of each program launch to deliver key capabilities on time and on budget. Writes user stories to communicate customer needs in an agile development environment. Work closely with Legal and Tax on regulations and compliance requirements to eliminate vendor adoption bottlenecks.

Program Roll-out:

Create and execute go-to-market plans for new features. Monitor key performance metrics to ensure program performance and identify optimization opportunities. Partner closely with the Sale and Business Development leader to drive adoption and ensure processes for on boarding that are easy and intuitive.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of program/product management, consulting or related experience.
• 2+ years of managing small to medium size (2-8) cross functional teams
• Experience defining market and program requirements, working with engineering organizations to rapidly deliver high-impact capabilities to market.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling positioning/messaging strategy and present complex information clearly and concisely.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to justify requirements, features and drive management of program.
• High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously with minimal supervision.
• Collaborative working style. Must work well in a team environment.
• Must have bias for action and strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA or Master's Degree in Operations, Supply Chain or Logistics
• Prior experience in direct to customer fulfillment/e-commerce is a plus
• Candidate with good exposure to Inventory Management and Inbound, Outbound & reverse logistics function
