My client are an International consultancy with a small office based in Dubai. They require an experienced Programme Manager to manage a global account with a focus of expanding their current retail focused portfolio.
The Real Estate team provides real estate transaction expertise, capital investment program management and facility maintenance and operation across 30 countries. They partner with suppliers to ensure quality, innovation and scalability with the Client’s business and utilise customer driven feedback to continuously improve and exceed employee expectations.
The role of Programme Manager will focus on the delivery of fully fitted out offices in new locations, ensure the vision, standards and policies are implemented throughout the projects managed, ensure successful delivery of all project under their control from A to Z including site selection, design, budget/cost/changes, schedule, procurement, construction, and handover to Facilities, performance feedback and lessons learned. Follow the six-stage process and integrated delivery model for all projects, being fully responsible for project delivery from Initiate (Stage 2) to Close (Stage 6). Ensure all project participants, Area Manager, Stakeholders (Portfolio, transaction, finance and Facility Management), Client Stakeholders (Procurement, Legal, IT, Security, AV, Safety and FM Launch) are managed to deliver to parameters agreed in the project charter (customer brief, headcount, time, cost, quality, safety and customer satisfaction).
Constantly be identifying and managing risks associated with delivery to the agreed charter, communicating and reporting issues, health status and action plan across all elements of the project. At all times maintain project information and status up to date using tools provided. Support of the Regional Program Director with the production and agreement of the project charter which will be the Program Managers game plan for the project. Procurement and management of all project vendors excluding the local broker. Ensuring all work orders and contracts are drafted, approved and executed before starting work on a project with rigid adherence to the clients spend and transaction policy.
Requirements
• Be comfortable discussing strategic matters and operating at a tactical and operational level.
• Be able to simultaneously act as a program manager, internal ambassador, educator, analyst, and solutions architect on a number of different projects.
• Be able to work within an entrepreneurial culture – delivering solutions, providing leadership and communication – but not afraid to dive into details.
• Be passionate about successfully delivering projects under their responsibility.
• Have an in-depth knowledge of Project Management with a financial focus.
• Be able to win the trust and co-operation of key project stakeholders.
• Be an effective communicator.
• Be bias for action whilst working within a rigid governance structure
• Be able to work autonomously, in multiple locations, travelling internationally on a regular basis.
• Have the ability to confidently operate within a fast-paced and complex environment.
