Programmer

Job description / Role

• Assist IT Manager in the day-to-day I.T. operations with trouble-shooting, attending to software queries and maintenance
• Ensure that effective and efficient backup procedures are followed
• Coordinate with the Human Resources Department in scheduling training courses
• Assist the IT manager in ensuring that the IT environment is secure from internal and external threats, with the use of Virus defense systems in place
• Ensure that the virus defense system is current and updates are deployed on all personal computers across the servers and the personal computers in operation
• Cooperate, co-ordinate and share information with Internal/External Audit teams as appropriate and application
• Attend Information Security Awareness sessions conducted by the wasl IT Department
• All Information Security breaches, events, weaknesses, incidents (actual or suspected breaches) shall be immediately reported to the IT Service Desk

Requirements

• Open to Indian nationals
• Male, 40 years old below
• Diploma in Computer Science/Electronics plus a certificate from a known institute in a computer-related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Programmer in large organizations
• Familiar with ASP.NET framework, SQL Server, and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC)), architecture styles/APIs, and development methodologies and models
• Knowledgeable in at least one of the .NET languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic .NET) and HTML5/CSS3
• Candidates who can join immediately will be prioritized
• Good communication and comprehension skills
• Flexible to work on shift
