Job description / Role
Objectives: To support Jalboot Marine FZE GM in day to day operations, including setup and management of a retail outlet in Mina Rashid, Dubai
Reporting to: General Manager
Other interactions: To share shop opening times with a Sales & Service Executive
Main responsibilities:
Manage stock / inventory, basic accounting and all administrative tasks involved with Jalboot Marine FZE operations, including but not limited to:
- Stock takes and accounting
- Barcoding and sales
- Coordinating purchases and deliveries from suppliers and to customers
Number required: 1
Duration: Permanent
Desired start date: Immediately or by mid September 2017
Probation: 6 months
Working Hours: As per Mina Rashid retail outlet hours
Travel requirements: Initially based in Abu Dhabi (1 month) and then located in Dubai with travel for suppliers / customers
Gross monthly base salary: Salary based on qualifications and experience but commencing from 4,000 AED / month
Commission / Bonus: Discretionary
Other Benefits: Medical insurance, visa, annual return ticket, 30 days statutory leave
Requirements
- Must have English and Arabic language skills
- Must be a self starter and able to work autonomously
- Must have a driving license and capable of driving in the UAE
- Must have strong administrative skills with basic competence in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Some experience in accounting is desirable but not essential
NOTE: Location will be in Abu Dhabi for 1 month then permanently in Dubai.
