Job Description
Abu Dhabi Precision Medicine Virtual Research Institute (AD PM VRI) is a research center-project operating the consortium of 5 higher-education institutions in the UAE seeking to drive home the urgent need for a holistic healthcare system focused on precision medicine - whereby diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment are customized to meet an individual patient need based on scientific principles.
You will support the VRI Director and Executive Board, performing a variety of administrative tasks. As a Senior Project Coordinator, you must possess excellent time management and multitasking skills to ensure all assigned duties are completed on time and efficiently.

Main Responsibilities
• Maintain multiple agendas, including those of theme directors and assist in planning appointments and meetings.
• Handle outgoing or incoming documents.
• Maintain records of meeting minutes and projects, and ensure information is organized and secured.
• Make internal processes effective and efficient by using best practices.
• Assist in recruitment, budgeting, and project monitoring.
• Conduct analysis, and prepare presentations or reports as assigned.
• Support in the coordination and monitoring of project progress and budgets.
• Support the Director and theme directors on other administrative and project-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Qualification
• Native English command or 8+ IELTS score or equivalent, excellent English communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or related field.
• A Master's degree or MBA is an advantage.
• Five years of work experience.

Expected Skills/Rank/Experience
• Familiar with digital tools and tech-savvy
• Excellent MS Office knowledge and project management software experience creating and contributing to spreadsheets, drafting and sharing documents and creating engaging and informative presentations
• Knowledge of basic research methods
• Excellent organizational, time management, and collaboration skills
• Autonomously driven and able to work in an unorthodox academic-research intensive work environment
• Willing to work extended hours on a need basis to meet deadlines
