Job description / Role
The key objective of this position is to ensure that the Project Deliverables are achieve in terms of time, budget and quality. Liaising between the client, quality, logistic and production department this role will ensure that all the project requirements are achieved on time and take steps to resolve any issues that arise.
Duties include:
- Contract Review- Technical, Commercial, Financial aspects.
- Ensure Purchase Requisitions / Orders are finalized within required time lines and manage material list.
- Prepare and oversee detailed project schedule to meet delivery requirements.
- Coordinate with Quality department and client to ensure documents (e.g.WPS/PQR, ITP, NDE) are approved.
- Oversee purchasing of materials ensuring materials arrive as scheduled.
- Coordinate with Logistics department to ensure proper delivery schedule..
- Manage communication with clients for document approvals, technical / commercial settlements, progress reports, dispatches, payments.
Requirements
- Candidates should have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the UAE in a similar position
- Experience in a similar industry is preferred
- Experience of coordinating with Clients and Quality departments
- Experience of managing a number of projects at the same time
