Job description / Role

Are you an experienced EPC Project Manager/Director? Do you want to work in a tax free location for a leading EPC contractor in the GCC region? If yes then this could be the opportunity for you.

We are representing a large blue chip international EPC organisation that has extensive projects in the Oil and Gas sector globally. With a strong portfolio of EPC projects, my client is seeking a Project Director to be based in the UAE and to work within the team on Refinery and Petrochemical EPC projects.

Responsibilities include:
• Overall Responsible for the refinery & petrochemical EPC project
• Determine and implement the exact needs of the Client as per Contract & Specification
• Co-ordinate the efforts of all parties involved in the project, which include the architects, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors and labourers.
• Ensure that construction activities move according to predetermined schedule
• Ensure Project milestones and commercial controls are achieved by effective planning including logistics and execution
• Leads project team through a regular system of contract reviews to identify & manage risks, monitor operational performance against the agreed timescales, and instigates corrective action where appropriate
• Always customer oriented structured, systematic and proactive approach to implement any system including ISO
• Create the teams, develop the objectives/goals of each and assign individual responsibilities

Salary & Package:
Our client are able to offer an attractive salary of $175,000 - $190,000 per annum tax free, plus accommodation, car, annual bonus, medical insurance.

Requirements

To be of the correct calibre for our client, candidates should be able to demonstrate the following criteria: Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) with over 20 years’ experience in executing EPC Projects with a value of $300 Million refinery & petrochemical projects. You would have worked for a leading EPC contractor and have Middle East experience in Project Management of onshore EPC projects, from cradle to the grave. You will be an excellent communicator with strong leadership skills.
