Job description / Role
Job Purpose:
To oversee and manage the development and execution of MTU diesel power generation projects, ensuring compliance with ROCE and ROICE principles. This role involves guaranteeing that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Project Director will lead a team of professionals, coordinate with various departments, and ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and industry best practices.
Minimum Education
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Advanced certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) are a plus.
Language Requirements
• English – Fluent (required)
• Arabic (is a plus)
Requirements:
Core Responsibilities:
• Plan, execute, and finalize diesel power generation projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
• Develop project plans and schedules and monitor project progress.
• Manage project risks and issues and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment.
• Lead and mentor project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders.

• Maintain a high level of personal organization and time management.
• Continuously improve industry knowledge and stay updated with the latest trends and technologies.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:
• Minimum 5 years in the Power Generation Project or similar industry.
• Extensive knowledge of diesel power generation systems and technologies.
• Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and risk management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale diesel power generation projects.
• Experience in a senior managerial position within the power generation industry.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Experience in coordinating with multiple stakeholders and managing project teams.

Salary:
AED
40,000 to 45,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: • Schooling Allowance: AED 40K/year • Ticket Allowance: Covers self, spouse, and two children
