Job description / Role
Our client a specialist Fire Engineering Consultancy requires a Project Director for a prestigious transportation project in Abu Dhabi.
The successful individual will be responsible for managing the project from contract and program perspective working alongside a Technical Director responsible for managing it from a engineering perspective.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Develop the strategy and execution plan
- Deliver on all technical aspects of the project as per the contract requirements
- Manage the client relationship and key stakeholders
- Deliver the financial objectives for the programme
- Manage all programme risk and contingencies
- Ensure compliance with the ‘company’ Business Management System
- Direct staff and resources to meet programme delivery requirements
- Ensure project success
- Manage the Project Manager’s performance of delegated responsibility
Requirements
To apply for the role you should meet the following criteria:
- The successful individual should be degree educated in engineering / construction related discipline
- Have between 15 - 20 years’ experience in project management
- Be PMP qualified and have strong experience in contracts and correspondence management
- Previous UAE experience essential
- Previous Fire Safety Engineering experience essential
