Project Director - Fit-Out

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Projects to lead and manage a portfolio of fit-out projects across the Middle East, Europe and the US. The Director of Projects will oversee the entire fit out process from start to finish, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and handover. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of successfully delivering complex fit out projects in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets for all fit out projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered within the agreed timeline and budget
- Lead and manage a team of project managers, coordinators, and support staff
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure that all work meets the required standards
- Continuously monitor and evaluate project progress, identifying areas for improvement
- Manage risk and ensure that appropriate contingency plans are in place
- Provide regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders

Requirements

To be considered, candidates must have:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, Project Management or a related field
- At least 20 years of experience in project management, with a focus on fit out projects
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing project teams
- Proven track record of delivering complex fit out projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
